6 Ways to Have More “Me” Time this Fall

Taking time for ourselves can be very difficult but rewarding. After our “me” time we can come back to our responsibilities and lives feeling new and rejuvenated. Fall can be the perfect season to enjoy time alone. It’s a great time to indulge in your favorite things. Here are 6 ways to have more time for yourself this fall.

Plan a Mini-Vacation

Early fall may be the best time for you to plan your own mini-vacation. Visit a nearby city you love for the weekend or play tourist in your own city. There probably won’t be too many coworkers taking off time in the early autumn so it could be the easier to get time off of work for your trip.

Buy a Fancy Coffee

Fall is the most wonderful time of the year for fancy, flavorful and sugary coffee drinks. Visit one of your favorite coffee shops and splurge on a nice drink, then sit down and to enjoy it. Use the time to people watch or sit with your thoughts.

Take a Walk

Take in the beautiful fall surroundings on a walk. Exercising and being in nature are both very therapeutic. Use this time to yourself to reflect on your life or just enjoy the day while clearing your mind.

Participate in Fall Fashion

Treat yourself to a new fall wardrobe. Go to your favorites stores and find cute clothes that fit your body type and personal style. Wearing new clothes that fit well improves confidence and self-esteem.

Keep Fit

Being the best version of yourself possible is also great for your self-esteem. Many of us work out during the summer to stay trim for swimsuit season. Set new goals for the fall to keep you motivated. Working out is perfect “me” time because it encourages self-improvement.

Have a Spa Day

An occasional spa day is good for your mind and body. Massages can help you relax and relieve stress while skin treatments keep your skin healthy during the cooler weather. Ask for recommendations on products to add to your skin care regimen.

Still need more time to yourself? Find a good book, have food delivered instead of cooking, make hot cocoa, or curl up on the couch to watch a good movie.
